Terms of Service

FlowIcon's features can change, be added to, or be discontinued. Meaningful changes are announced in advance to your account email address.

Don't keep the only copy of something important here. Keep a backup outside this service — PNG, SVG, and PDF export are available inside the editor.

• Signing in happens through a link sent to your email, or through Google/GitHub. Anyone who can open that email can open your account — protect access to your inbox.
• One account per person. Shared accounts make the audit trail useless.
• You are responsible for what the people you invite into your workspace do, including the roles you grant them.

Your document contents stay yours. No ownership is claimed over the drawings, text, or files you put in.

So the service can work, you grant a limited permission to store, copy, and display that content — only as far as needed to show it back to you and to the workspace members you grant access, to make previews, and to back it up. That permission ends when the content is deleted.

• Upload or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or contains malware.
• Attempt to break the separation between workspaces, read documents that aren't yours, or test the security of the service without written permission.
• Abuse resources: high-volume automated requests, abuse of invitation emails, or attempts to get around rate limiting.
• Resell this service as your own.

The following limits are enforced by the server, not merely written here:

• 5,000 elements per document. Above that a document opens read-only so its contents aren't truncated on save.
• 8 MB for a single stored document.
• The free plan covers 3 documents per workspace.
• Sign-in attempts and invitation emails are rate limited per address and per IP.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly, per workspace, and nothing is charged without your consent first. The prices that apply are listed on the pricing page. Price changes are announced in advance and take effect from the next billing period.

• You can stop at any time by deleting your workspace.
• Access may be suspended if section 04 is broken, or if usage threatens the stability of the service for other people. Where possible, notice is sent first.
• This service may be shut down entirely. If that happens, notice is sent to your account email address with a reasonable window to take your data.

The service is provided as is, without warranty of availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. All software contains defects that are not yet known.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for damages arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid for it.
