FlowIcon

Sketch while you think, type once you're sure.

One document for two ways of working. Scribble freely while the idea is still rough, then write the diagram as text once the architecture has to stay tidy every time it changes.

Two document modes

Freeform canvas

When the shape isn't clear yet

Draw boxes, arrows, and scribbles like on a whiteboard. No layout rules, no syntax to get right first. Good for meetings, brainstorms, and quick explanations.

  • Pen strokes and shapes
  • Paste images
  • Sticky notes

Diagram-as-code

When it has to stay tidy

Write nodes and their relations as text; the layout is computed for you. Adding one service means adding one line — not nudging twelve boxes.

  • Flowcharts, ERDs, cloud architecture
  • Automatic layout
  • Reviewable like code

Both live in the same workspace, with the same permissions and history.

Getting started

Three steps to your first document

Nothing to install. Sign in through a link sent to your email, and everything runs in the browser.

  1. 1

    Create a workspace

One workspace per team. Invite people by email and give them the owner, admin, editor, or viewer role.

  2. 2

    Pick a document mode

Freeform canvas for rough ideas, structured diagram for architecture that has to stay tidy.

  3. 3

    Draw; it saves itself

There is no save button. Changes are stored 0.8 seconds after your hand stops, and the save status is always visible in the editor header.

Examples

The shapes people usually draw

Each one uses a different part of the editor. Click again to draw it once more.

Icon nodes with elbow arrows. Each node stores its own size, so the routing stays correct even after the layout is nudged by hand.
